FOUNDER'S MESSAGE

We created Lab to reimagine what’s possible in public education. As long-time K-12 teachers and administrators, we knew there was a better way to approach school -- a way that puts the needs of students (vs. the ‘system’) at the center, a way that lets teachers be the kind of teachers they always thought they could be, a way that proves ALL kids should be known, have opportunities to find and develop their passion, and can be successful.
 
So we created Lab, and The Lab Way. It’s our lives’ work and our passion.

MLK 2026 Service Project

Martin Luther King Jr. Service Project

Lab will kick-off the annual Kindness Service Project in honor of Dr. King. We are asking families for product donations to share kindness kits and for help assembling these kits. The kits will be distributed to shelters in the Charlotte community.

Spirit Week is January 27-January 30

K-12 Spirit week dress-up days are Jan 27-Jan 30. All participating students should dress in school-appropriate shoes and attire. Students who choose not to dress-up should wear a regular uniform or dress code.
