Welcome to a brand new school year at Charlotte Lab School! We hope your summer was filled with fun and relaxation, and from all of us in the PTSO, we’re excited to welcome all new and returning families back to Lab for the 2024-2025 school year. As we gear up for another exciting year of learning and growth, we’re thrilled to reconnect with all of you and share some important updates and opportunities.
What is the PTSO and how do I get involved?
As a PTSO, we work to benefit all Charlotte Lab staff and students. Our goal is to unite parents, teachers, and volunteers to enrich the educational experience of all children at Charlotte Lab.
Want to get involved? Anyone can join the PTSO! Parents, guardians, grandparents, aunts, uncles, staff and support members, and community volunteers all come together to form the PTSO and we have MANY ways you can support.

We’re kicking off the year with our
Virtual PTSO Interest Meeting on Thursday, August 29th at 7:00 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about our plans for the year, discover how you can get involved, and meet fellow parents and guardians who share your passion for supporting our school community. We’d love to see you there and hear your ideas on how we can make this year exceptional for our students.
Get Involved with POINT!
Have you signed up for POINT? POINT is our volunteer platform designed to make it easy for you to stay connected and contribute to our school community. It is a free online tool/app that we use to organize events and keep track of volunteers. Approval is required to sign up for events, so click the button below to submit your request and we will approve as soon as possible.
