Good Afternoon Charlotte Lab School Families,
We hope you’re having a great start to the school year! There’s so much happening, and we can’t wait to share how you can get involved in our vibrant community. We have a bunch of information below, so be sure to read through or visit our site to stay updated!
First, we’d like to extend a thank you to all who were able to join us in our first meeting of the year! We shared a bit more about the PTSO, our goals and upcoming events for the school year, volunteer opportunities, and more. It was a very productive meeting and we look forward to the next General Assembly Meeting. Keep an eye out for more details in the upcoming weeks.

Fun Run and Color Run | Save the Dates! 🏃🎉
We're excited to introduce this year's main fundraiser, the Charlotte Lab Fun Run and Color Run. Our goal this year is to raise $35,000 for staff appreciation, wellness and culture support, and school events to benefit ALL students and staff at Charlotte Lab School.
We are looking forward to this fundraising experience because it offers 3 important things to our school community:
1️⃣ User-friendly fundraising platform
2️⃣ Character enrichment program
3️⃣ Fitness-focused event that includes ALL of our students
As a family, you will work together asking friends and family to donate on your student’s Donation Page at MyBooster.com. The best part is, you can still support Lab just by SHARING about the fundraiser! The class that raises the most will get to have a pizza party sponsored by the PTSO 🍕!!
Students will also experience an amazing character enrichment program called “Castle Quest”, teaching students about how to be brave and live with character.

Take a break from cooking and join us at Dave’s Hot Chicken for Spirit Night on Friday, September 27th from 4pm - 8pm. Trunk or Treat – October 30th 🎃
Our Trunk or Treat is shaping up to be a fantastic event, but we need your help! We had our first planning committee meeting and are grateful to everyone who attended and contributed their ideas!
We’re still looking for volunteers to come with decorated cars and hand out candy, as well as volunteers to assist with games and activities. This event is open to the public, so we encourage all Lab families to invite their friends, family, or business partners to join us.

Whew! We are off to a busy start and look forward to connecting with Lab families at all the upcoming events.
