Shiekia Broussard
Shiekia attended UNC Greensboro earning a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Biology. She decided to go back to study Special education at UNC Charlotte and soon learned that Special education was her calling! She then pursued her Masters in Education with a concentration in Special Education.
Shiekia started her career as a Special education self contained behavior teacher, and then worked for Cabarrus county schools as a Resource teacher. After relocating to Celebration, FL she worked as the Inclusion Specialist. Shiekia has served in the roles of EC department chair, new teacher mentor, Lead EC teacher, and Educational consultant.
A desire to be closer to family in NC drew her back home. In her spare time Shiekia enjoys traveling the globe, reading, and living a wonderful life with her two boys and wonderful husband.
