Malshaun Burns

Malshaun was born and raised in Sumter, South Carolina and graduated from Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina with a degree in Child and Family Development and from Queens University with a Masters in Educational Leadership. He previously worked in CMS serving in such roles as Behavior Modification Technician, District Intervention Strategist, and Exceptional Children's Teacher at Sterling Elementary and Sedgefield Middle Schools.

​Mr. Burns currently resides in South Charlotte with his wife Amanda and their two children, Layla (a Lab School student) and Logan (a future Lab School Student).
