Barbara Biscupovich
Barbara Biscupovich is a native Spanish speaker from Viña del Mar, Chile. She moved to the USA in 1986 in search of better opportunities. She graduated from Brigham Young University in 2002 with a Bachelors degree in Spanish Translation and Interpretation. Later on, Barbara discovered her love of teaching and spent the past 15 years teaching Spanish. She joined The Waterford School in Sandy, UT where she taught and developed and engaging and effective curriculum for Spanish beginners up to Advance, Pre-Ap and AP courses. Barbara continued her studies at Fundación Universitaria Ibero Americana, earning a Masters degree in Pedagogy. Barbara's love for her Chilean community took her to work with the Honorary Consulate of Chile in Salt Lake City for several years and also to be the secretary for the Chilean Association of Utah. In 2017 Barbara joined BYU Management Society Hispanic Chapter as member of the board in order to become more involved in the community which she loves. Her hobbies are traveling, service projects to Guatemala and Colombia, music, dancing, food and spending time with family.
