Sara Wright

In 2019, Sara moved to Charlotte where she followed her passion of working with children and pursued her teaching certification from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Most recently she taught Kindergarten where she focused on showing young children that learning can be fun and be a gateway to a limitless future.

Before teaching, Sara had a 13-year career at Verizon Communications where she held multiple positions including Director of Financial Planning & Analysis responsible for reporting, forecasting, and analysis for multiple lines of business.

A native of Chicago, IL, she earned an MBA at Rutgers University, a bachelor’s degree in finance from Howard University and holds a Certified Public Accountant designation. She enjoys traveling, dancing, and spending time outdoors.
