Ashleigh Lanzone

Ashleigh Lanzone is originally from St. Louis, MO (Go Cards!) and moved to Charlotte, NC 8 years ago. She graduated with her Bachelor's in Elementary education and her Master's in Special Education, both from McKendree University in Lebanon, Illinois. She also obtained her Autism Spectrum Disorders Certification from UNCC and is currently a doctoral candidate for her PhD in Special Education Leadership. Ashleigh was the Exceptional Children's Director at a Union County charter school for three years and has been teaching in special education classrooms for twelve years. She was also awarded Teacher of The Year at her school in 2021.

While she is not teaching, Ashleigh enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling,  Cardinals baseball, going to Disney, riding her Peloton, and her favorite activity  of raising awareness and funds for a foundation she is a part of that helps families that have kids battling childhood cancer. Ashleigh cannot wait to be a part of the Lab family!
