Shoma Kalikkot Veetil

Shoma Kalikkot Veetil is an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher with a rich background in education. Originally from India, she moved to the United States in 2019, driven by her passion for inspiring young minds. With a Master's degree in Physics and a Bachelor's degree in Education, she possesses a strong academic foundation and pedagogical expertise. Ms.Shoma’'s teaching journey began at a young age, and she has since been devoted to nurturing her students' intellectual curiosity.

Fluent in English, Hindi, Malayalam, and Tamil, she fosters an inclusive learning environment that connects with students from diverse cultural backgrounds. Having taught at different schools in India, Singapore, and the USA, including as a middle school Science teacher at AXL Academy, Colorado, and Senior Secondary Physics teacher at DPS International School, Singapore, she has honed her instructional skills and guided students towards academic excellence.

Beyond teaching, Ms. Shoma is a loving mother of two who enjoys travel, meeting new people, and knowing their cultures. She looks forward to inspiring her students at Charlotte Lab School to develop a profound appreciation for Science and become critical thinkers, aiming to empower the next generation of innovators and scientists to shape the world with their knowledge and creativity.
