Brandon Jenkins
My name is Brandon Jenkins and I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. I enjoy movies, playing pool/cards and basketball. I love cars, especially older ones! My favorite food is Lasagna and Alfredo.
I graduated from Detroit Southeastern High School and was an All-American in basketball. I went to The University of Louisville where I played for legendary coach Rick Pitino. After college I went overseas to play professional basketball in Europe as well as New Zealand for 9 years. Once my career came to an end, I became the program assistant for the UNLV men’s basketball program for 2 years. Shortly after I received a call to come back home to become a high school basketball coach. During my time coaching I was the dean of students but didn’t think that was the right fit for me, so I decided to pursue Special Education! I received my masters from Grand Canyon University in Special Education. I am a very patient person who enjoys one on one and small group instruction, as well as communicating with families.
