Keegan Brittain
Keegan Brittain graduated with a bachelors of music education from Wingate University and went on to teach PreK-5th grade music for two years. During her time in elementary music Brittain, along with fellow music teacher Zach Jones, founded and began directing the United Voices of NC Youth Choir supporting singers ages 8-14. Brittain also acted as Artistic Director of the Charlotte Childrens Choirs serving ages 8-18 until COVID, unfortunately, ended her time with both choirs. Brittain has been teaching private voice lessons and providing yoga informed workshops for choirs of all types since 2019. Brittain has been with Charlotte Lab school since 2021 teaching K-1 music and is excited to be starting a choir program for grades 7-12 this year! Outside of professional endeavors she enjoys studying languages, singing with the Charlotte Master Chorale, and caring for her many pets including an angelic mini doodle, three cats, a couple quail, and her aquariums.
