George Hudson

George Hudson is a native of New York (Bronx), later relocating to North Carolina as a pre-teen. He holds a BSBA in Marketing from Western Carolina University. His career started in Banking, however, his desire to serve the Charlotte community led him to a successful career with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, subsequently, retiring after a decorated thirty-year career. 

 

Mr. Hudson is proud to be a team member of Charlotte Lab School, and he is dedicated to ensuring that the school remains a healthy and safe environment for our scholars and staff.

 

Mr. Hudson is married to his lovely wife, and they have two amazing and successful adult daughters. His hobbies are spending time with family and friends, reading, working with the "unhoused" within the community, training youth in the sport of basketball, dining at local restaurants (self-proclaimed "foodie"), watching his favorite sports teams, such as the NY Giants, NY Knicks, Las Vegas Aces, Duke Blue Devils Basketball (men), South Carolina Gamecocks Basketball (women), and NY Yankees.
