Nicollette Martinez

Nicollette Martinez is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina. She completed her BS in Communication, Advertising from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina and her MAT in Elementary Education from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. Prior to teaching at Charlotte Lab Schools, Nicollette taught grades 4th-6th as a native English teacher in South Korea. Nicollette has also taught 2nd grade while working to complete her MAT. She is passionate about fostering curiosity, intercultural communication, and meeting the needs of all her students.

In her free time, Nicollette enjoys reading, going to the gym, traveling, and spending time with her cat, Bella.
