Reserve the Charlotte Lab Spirit Rock!

Celebrate Your Lab Student!

• Sign up for the Spirit Rock using the SignUpGenius link below
• Sign up for the date you would like and include your Student's name in the comment section and your name and email in the appropriate spots
• The cost to reserve the rock is $20 (per slot) and proceeds go back into campus beautification.
• Submit payment via Zelle or PayPal to [email protected] and include "Spirit Rock" with your reservation date in the comments. Payment must be received within 1 week of sign-up to keep your reservation or 24 hours if requesting within a week of your reserved date.
• Please note: If you are unable to pay within 1 week, we will have to release your date.

• Only one person may reserve the spirit rock at a time.
• Your reservation reserves the rock beginning at 4pm the day before your reserved date (for example, if you reserve the rock for September 5th, your reservation will begin at 4:00pm on September 4th and run through 4:00pm on September 8th).
• No bullying, profanity, obscenity, or derogatory language will be permitted. PTSO and Charlotte Lab reserve the right to paint over anything that does not follow these guidelines as well as the conduct guidelines posted by Lab.
• All rules as outlined in the Charlotte Lab Family Guide to Life at Lab and Code of Conduct MUST be obeyed. No exceptions.
• Renter is responsible for providing supplies and doing the painting. You bring your own paint and supplies, the school/PTSO does not supply any painting materials. Please keep the area around the rock clean and neat while painting.
• Paint may only be used on the rock itself. Paint may not be used on the grass or surrounding property.
• The PTSO does not paint the rock for you. Plan to have 2-3 cans of each color you will be using especially if you are painting over a dark color, you may need more.
• Lab PTSO is not responsible for parents, students or others who paint the rock without reserving it but please follow the Lab Way and be respectful of those who have reserved the rock.
• Lab PTSO reserves the right to block out dates for school use.
• To allow other families an opportunity to be as close to their special event/celebration as possible, please refrain from booking two slots back to back.
• If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected]. Please do not contact the school about the Spirit Rock as they will redirect you back to us (and they have enough on their hands, right?).         

• Basic acrylic paint or an all weather paint or spray paint work best.
• If bad weather is in the forecast, it is a great idea to cover with a light coating of clear coat spray paint.
